2024 Conference General Information

Denver, Colorado | Sept. 9-12, 2024

Weather

Have you been to Denver in the fall? It’s gorgeous! Daily high temperatures range from 84°F to 74°F, rarely falling below 61°F or exceeding 92° with an average humidity of 43%. It’s the best time of year to be here!

Travel

As a major hub for many airlines, flights to Denver are very competitive and much lower than if the conference was being held in a smaller city. We want this conference to be accessible and affordable for everyone!

Our Hosts

Saint John’s Cathedral and the Episcopal Church in Colorado’s Office of the Bishop are hosting our conference workshops. The Cathedral is no stranger to hosting conferences and important events and they are excited to welcome us with open arms! We will have several shared meals at the Cathedral and lots of networking time, in addition to a host of workshops and forums.

Lodging

Our gatherings and workshops are being hosted at Saint John’s Cathedral (1350 N Washington St., Denver, CO 80203) in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver. There are dozens of lodging options within blocks for you to choose from, based on your comfort and preferred price point. From hotels to Airbnbs to hostels, there are plenty of options to find a fitting experience! And, if you are a hotel-points-kind-of-person, you can find your favorite chain.

Here are the more budget-friendly options closest to the Cathedral:

  • 11th Ave Hostel is $93/night for a Private Euro Room with Shared Bath. .7 miles, 15 min walk

  • Airbnbs run around $133-180/night for a private space or whole place with a queen bed within 5 blocks of the Cathedral. Want to share a multi-bedroom Airbnb with others? Coordinate here on the forum!

  • Hampton Inn is $190/night. .9 miles, 19 min walk

  • Sonesta Denver Downtown is $195/night. 1 mile, 21 min walk

  • Holiday Inn Express is $204/night. 1 mile, 20 min walk

  • Warwick hotel is $228/night. .7 miles, 16 min walk

Lots of other options around the same price points as above if you do a little searching! Estimates are based on second week of September 2023 research.
